Graphic Designer

Bottrell Media are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team. A successful candidate will be collaborating with other designers as well as with our sales, marketing, and development departments to create effective and eye-catching images and campaigns for both internal and external social media marketing as well as producing website designs to match our clients and their businesses. Your job duties include developing graphics both for print and digital platforms for social media posts, website designs and business cards. Our ideal candidate has a substantial portfolio of successful campaigns and is proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design team on project concepts
  • Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
  • Develop product illustrations, logos, and other graphics as needed
  • Advise on best practices and optimizations throughout design projects
  • Select colors, font, images, and layout
  • Create visualizations (either by hand or via a software program) which convey accurate messaging and undertones as dictated by the project
  • Present designs to stakeholders and applicable teams
  • Implement feedback and changes when appropriate
  • QA designs for errors
  • Pass final design to development or publishing teams for release

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, design, or a related field (preferred)
  • Portfolio of extensive designs used in successful marketing campaigns
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Quark Xpress, and Photoshop

Copywriter

Bottrell Media is looking for a Copywriter to join our team. This job would consist of writing content for our internal marketing such as updates to our existing sites and social media channels and creating content for clients for both their social media channels and websites. If you’re looking for a workplace to develop your skills and test yourself with creating content for various types of media, Bottrell Media is the place to help you to get to the place you want.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online
  • Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
  • Collaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal to assess project needs and help with messaging
  • Drive brand consistency across all company communications
  • Develop and implement brand guidelines
  • Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
  • See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment

 

Qualifications for Copywriter

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications (Preferred)

Videographer

We are looking for a Videographer to join our media marketing team at Bottrell Media. Our ideal candidate will maintain their own video and audio recording equipment, has experience using video editing software, and enjoys presenting a complete, polished project on deadline. Our project will consist of traveling to internal social video posts, videos for internal website updates (blogs, new content pages) and well as client socials and website video content. If successful, you will be working closely with our graphic designers and copywriters to plan and complete projects. Depending on the size and nature of the project, you may set up and record footage independently or with other members of our media team. Candidates with experience in photography and graphic design are preferred.

Photographer

Bottrell Media are looking for a Photographer to join our media marketing team. Depending on the size and nature of the project, you may set up and run photo shoots independently or with other members of the media team. Our ideal candidate will maintain their own photography equipment, has experience using photo editing software, and enjoys presenting a complete, polished project on deadline. Our project will consist of running photo shoots for internal and external social posts, photos for internal website updates (blogs, new content pages) and external website images. Candidates with experience in videography and graphic design are preferred.

Project Manager

Bottrell Media are looking for a new project manager to join our team. We’re searching for a highly skilled project manager to coordinate and manage members from multiple teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow for the project. The ideal candidate will have production experience as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills. They will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate management channels on a regular basis, ensuring that we are meeting milestones and deadline on time.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
  • Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans

Bottrell Media is seeking a qualified business development specialist to aid in the growing and expanding our business. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, to get a handle on how the business runs and functions and to find way to improve and expand those functions to grow the business. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will take a lead role in managing existing sales pipeline and new business opportunities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management to discuss strategy
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
